Research and innovation into the development of novel therapeutics and ways of detecting diseases, as well as on how to improve the practice of pharmacy, is central to the activities of the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences at RCSI.

Our staff conduct cutting-edge research on multiple disease areas of profound clinical importance, including cancers, neurodegenerative disorders, infectious diseases, haematological and immunological disorders, all with a view towards identifying novel therapeutic targets.
