You will have access to leading-edge, highly relevant content delivered in a stimulating online learning environment, with exciting weekly course themes and formative knowledge checks. Each week, you will engage in a 1.5 hour live webinar session, accompanied by self-paced online activities and receive a RCSI Certificate on completion.

- Our five-week courses are fully online so that you are able to study at a pace that suits your lifestyle.
- Each course consists of four weeks of direct teaching and in the fifth and final week, learners will complete a Personal Action Plan.
- Learning content is delivered in video format, online activities and each week, there will be a 90-minute live and interactive webinar. All webinars are recorded for those who cannot attend live, and will be available to view at your convenience.
- We understand that some people may be new to online learning. Our virtual learning environment (VLE) is designed to be intuitive, accessible and easy to navigate. A dedicated programme coordinator will be available to you, should you experience any technical difficulties, or have any specific questions relating to learning online. At the start of each course, there will be some short videos to orientate you to the platform and course format.
These are continuous professional development (or continuous education) courses designed to meet the professional development needs of healthcare professionals in an ever evolving and complex healthcare environment.
Robust quality assurance processes are in place to ensure an excellent educational experience. Recognition of CPD points in other jurisdictions may apply but must be determined by the individual applicant.
Participants will receive an RCSI Completion Certificate. To achieve your Certificate of Completion, you will need to pass a weekly MCQ, participate in discussions and engage in reflective exercises, including completion of a personal action plan.
