Stroke Rehabilitation

Clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice tackling the theory, evaluation and therapeutic practice of stroke rehabilitation in the context of recent scientific advances (10 ECTS).

Translating Evidence to Practice

Develop the knowledge and skills of the healthcare practitioner to become an effective user of research findings and to synthesise this knowledge for application to their practice (5 ECTS).

Ageing

Physiotherapists need to be skilled in the holistic assessment and treatment of frail individuals in a variety of clinical settings and must be able to use the best available evidence to inform their practice.

Neurorehabilitation

This module is aimed at healthcare professionals working with people with neurological conditions who are motivated to investigate the evidence base for current rehabilitation approaches.

Neuroscience

The field of clinical neuroscience has expanded rapidly and opened new frontiers in our understanding of the nervous system – in particular, how it develops, ages and recovers from injury.

Musculoskeletal Injection Therapy*

Focuses on the development of knowledge, advanced reasoning and practical skills around the use of joint and soft tissue injections in upper- and lower-limb musculoskeletal conditions (10 ECTS).
