Healthcare Heroes Scholarships

We are delighted to announce the launch of our ‘Healthcare Heroes Scholarships’, which recognise the extraordinary commitment of the healthcare sector in caring for patients. The aim of the RCSI’s Healthcare Heroes Scholarship programme is to support the continued leadership journey and educational ambitions of healthcare professionals, like you, in recognition of the impact and commitment you are making to serve and improve patient care and safety. To be considered for the scholarship, candidates need to apply for and be accepted onto one of RCSI’s participating programmes for the Autumn 2022/23 academic year.
The process is straightforward:

Step 1: Apply to the programme of interest via the Apply tab on the course page. To apply you will need a copy of your CV, a photo of your passport and copies of your academic transcripts or degree. No application fee is required.

Step 2: Once you receive notification that you have been offered a place on the programme, you can accept your offer and pay the deposit payment (this will be fully refunded to those successful in securing a scholarship).

Step 3: Apply for the scholarship. When you have submitted your proof of payment and accepted your offer you will receive a confirmation email with the link to start your scholarship. Complete the form and submit a 500-word personal statement describing your role and your impact on the healthcare environment in which you are working. Submissions should be made before 31 July 2022.
