RCSI Medical University of Bahrain appoints Professor Husain Nasaif as Director of MSc in Nursing

RCSI Medical University of Bahrain announces the appointment of Professor Husain Nasaif, Associate Professor in Nursing, as Director of the MSc in Nursing Programme.
Professor Nasaif holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice specialising in Educational Leadership from Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, USA, and an MSc in Advanced Practice Nursing. Prof Nasaif has completed advanced training in leadership and knowledge synthesis through programmes offered by Harvard Medical School and Toronto University. His distinguished career at RCSI Medical University of Bahrain since 2009 has included leadership positions, such as Director of the BSc (Hons) Nursing Programme and former Director of the Nursing Bridging Programme. Through his unwavering dedication to academic leadership and nursing education, Professor Nasaif has made a substantial impact on the development and enhancement of the University’s nursing programmes. A qualified Adult Nurse Practitioner, Professor Nasaif brings extensive academic and clinical expertise to his new prestigious role.
As Director of the MSc in Nursing Programme, Professor Nasaif will oversee the development of specialised postgraduate nursing programmes, integrating cutting-edge research and knowledge into the curriculum in collaboration with the School of Nursing & Midwifery. Additionally, Professor Nasaif will continue to engage in healthcare research in the areas of advanced nursing practice, health and wellbeing of nursing workforce, men’s health challenges, and assessment and evaluation in nursing education.
