The Ibn Al-Baitar Center for Simulation and Experiential Learning (ICSEL) is named after the Arab scholar, Ahmad Ibn Al-Baitar, in honour of his contributions to the fields of medicine, pharmacy, botany, physics and science.

The Centre is a purpose-built learning environment, where high quality simulation-based education takes place. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and manikins which provide students with a realistic experience.
