About RCSI Bahrain

The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain, is a constituent university of RCSI, which was established in Dublin, Ireland in 1784. It is licensed by the Higher Education Council in the Kingdom of Bahrain. 

With a long-standing history in healthcare education, RCSI was invited to set up its own campus on the island as an independent private not-for-profit health sciences institution focused on education and research.

RCSI Bahrain Strategic plan 2023 - 2027

The Strategic Plan for 2023-2027 will aim to enhance and improve the University across all areas as part of RCSI Bahrain’s continuing evolution. While the majority of the goals of the 2018-20122 Strategic Plan have been achieved, the same strategic pillars; Teaching and Learning; Research; and Community Engagement and Service, remain relevant for the next five years and form the basis for expansion, development and further enhancement.
