Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust Explores Opportunities for Collaboration with RCSI Medical University of Bahrain

Ms Mashael Al-Qutami, Acting Secretary-General and Director of Student and Educational Institutions Affairs at the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, together with several representatives from the Trust, visited the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) – Medical University of Bahrain as part of the ongoing joint efforts between the two parties aimed at developing national talent to support the Kingdom of Bahrain’s healthcare sector.

During the visit, Ms Al-Qutami reaffirmed the Trust’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with leading academic institutions to help empower its beneficiaries who wish to pursue medical specialisations. She noted that the continued collaboration with RCSI Medical University of Bahrain reflects the shared dedication of both institutions to advancing initiatives that enable students to achieve their professional aspirations, enhance the capabilities of Bahraini youth, and contribute to progress within the healthcare sector.

Professor Alfred Nicholson, Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Head of School of Medicine at RCSI Medical University of Bahrain, emphasised that the ongoing partnership with the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust demonstrates the University’s commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for Bahraini students to pursue their ambitions in medicine. He highlighted that this fruitful collaboration helps to prepare well-qualified healthcare professionals capable of strengthening and sustaining Bahrain’s healthcare system.

The visit also featured an interactive session with RCSI Medical University of Bahrain students supported by the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust. The session fostered constructive dialogue between the students and the Trust’s representatives, exploring their academic experiences and future aspirations. 

This initiative reflects the Trust’s commitment to maintaining direct engagement with students and supporting their educational journey in ways that enrich their university experience and enhance both their academic and practical skills.
