RCSI’s School of Nursing and Midwifery has a long history of delivering education programmes to meet the further learning needs and specialisation requirements of nurses and midwives in Ireland and internationally. Led by Professor Zena Moore, our expert academics deliver an extensive range of accessible, flexible and clinically focussed nursing courses.
Our courses
We offer a suite of full-time and part-time Postgraduate programmes in clinical specialties and management disciplines. These are aimed at ensuring safe and effective nursing and midwifery practice.
Frequently asked questions
Do not accept your offer until you have proof of funding (e.g. a funding letter), or if you are self-funded, you can use the payment link here and provide a screenshot of the 40% deposit payment into the document section when you accept your place.
You have until 28 July to send in your funding letter/deposit to secure your place.
If you are having problems accepting your offer, please email your funding letter/proof of deposit, along with your application number to nursing@rcsi.ie.
Once these documents are submitted, your application is sent to the academic team for review.
You will be contacted if they are missing any documents.
Timetables will not be available until late-July.
Induction is on 1 September and orientation will be a morning or afternoon session between Wednesday 3-5 September.
Teaching, via online classes, is expected to begin the week of 8 September 2025.
For any applicant that has been sent an offer email for the that states you should to take part in the supported entry workshop, the live session will take place online on 14 August. Further information will be sent out by end-July.
