Eduroam
Eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam facilitates roaming educational users to gain wireless internet access with their laptops and mobile devices at other member sites by authenticating against a server hosted at their own institution.
RCSI is a fully enabled eduroam participant offering both the 'identify provider' service for roaming RCSI registered users wishing to use eduroam in other eduroam enabled institutions and the 'service provider' to visitors to RCSI from other eduroam-enabled institutions who wish to connect to the RCSI wireless network.
Eduroam is available in all Wi-Fi enabled areas of RCSI campus and remote sites.
