The 39th Annual International Nursing & Midwifery Research and Education Conference will take place in RCSI on Wednesday, 26 and Thursday, 27 February 2020.

The theme for the conference is '2020: The WHO Year of the Nurse and Midwife: Celebrating Nurses and Midwives Contribution to Healthcare Locally and Globally'.

The Annual Honorary Fellowship Conferring Ceremony and Conference Dinner and take place on Wednesday, 26 February 2020, while the Scientific Conference takes place on Thursday, 27 February 2020.

In recognition of the contribution of nurses and midwives to healthcare and in celebration of 2020, as the WHO Year of the Nurse and Midwife, the Faculty is delighted to announce that the Conference on Thursday will be a free event.

The Faculty wishes to showcase and celebrate nursing and midwifery’s contribution to healthcare. This is an opportunity to share and celebrate local initiatives, quality improvement projects, frameworks, research, concepts, audits, documentation or ideas which have made a difference to your patients/clients/service users or the delivery of healthcare in your area.

An extended panel discussion with global leaders will discuss, recognise and celebrate the influence of nursing and midwifery practice across the globe.
