RCSI’s School of Nursing and Midwifery has a long history of offering education programmes to meet the further learning needs and specialisation requirements of nurses and midwives in Ireland and internationally.
Led by Prof. Zena Moore, Prof. Tom O’Connor and Prof. Declan Patton, our expert academics deliver over 70 clinically focussed programmes at Postgraduate Cert, Diploma and Masters level.
Our courses are tailored for specialisation and career advancement and accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Programmes are available in the specialties below and in a range of other clinical areas:

The School will host an online webinar on Tuesday, 2 June 2026 from 2pm for professional learners interested in studying with us from autumn 2026.
During this webinar, Prof. O’Connor will provide an overview of the School, our programmes, our approach to teaching, academic progression and the supports we offer to learners. There will also be time to answer questions about programmes that you may be interested in.
