This course will focus on advanced surgical techniques of laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, in particular the total extraperitoneal (TEP) approach.
This interactive course will start with an overview of the anatomical approach in this method, with hands-on practice of laparoscopic visualisation and balloon expansion practice in our wet lab facility. This will be followed by TEP Inguinal Hernia Repair with mesh placement and a detailed step-by-step description of this complex laparoscopic surgery.
Expert surgeons in this field will also share their experiences and discuss video footage of difficult cases.
