To be an effective leader, doctors must focus on their personal leadership practice, develop high performing teams, influence change and improve performance in the system within which they work.
This course is for doctors at any stage of their careers who are interested in developing and proving their commitment to:

The three-day programme will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to develop your own career pathway effectively, to understand the importance of self-awareness in your leadership practice, and to be an effective coach and mentor within a healthcare setting.
It will also assist you in optimising your contribution to multi-disciplinary teams, to negotiate and resolve conflict effectively, and to understand the importance of emotional intelligence when engaging with others.
Finally, this course will provide you with the skills, knowledge and understanding of best practice approaches to managing change and will demonstrate how to adapt leadership styles in different situations and contexts.
Upon completion, you will be awarded with RCSI Accredited Certificate in Medical Leadership in Practice.
