NCBI Gerard Byrne Bursary
The NCBI Gerard Byrne Bursary is open to all students with certified visual impairment or blindness studying at Undergraduate level on a full-time basis at a recognised third level institution. All terms and conditions are provided in the NCBI 2019 Bursary Information and Awarding Criteria Document below and are also available from ncbi.ie.
Each year, a maximum of two bursaries will be awarded as part of the NCBI Gerard Byrne Bursary.
How to apply
- Complete and return the application form to by email to email@example.com, or post (NCBI Gerard Byrne Bursary Application, NCBI Head Office, Whitworth Rd, Drumcondra, Dublin 9). All applications must be received by 5pm on Friday 31 May 2019.
- Supply a personal statement outlining their career aspirations (500-750 words).
- Supply a personal statement outlining how they has overcome a significant challenge in pursuit of their educational attainment (500-750 words).
