RCSI statement on Ukraine

  • General news

RCSI strongly condemns the Russian invasion of Ukraine and is gravely concerned about the enormous humanitarian crisis that will inevitably follow.

We support the global effort to assist the Ukrainian people who have left their country, and those who have remained.

We recognise that this is a time of great distress and worry for people across the world, and particularly so for those who have family, friends, colleagues and peers in Ukraine.

We also recognise the distress of our Russian students and staff, as they witness the impact of these actions in Ukraine and in Russia, and the international condemnation.

We have contacted those students and staff who have been directly affected to offer our support. Students and staff are also reminded of the supports available to them:
