Summary
Core Competencies in Cardiothoracic Surgery is a face-to-face teaching session which provides hands on teaching using high-fidelity simulation techniques.
The hands-on sessions will introduce attendees to the basic principles of placing a patient on cardio pulmonary bypass, aortic valve replacement/mitral valve repair and coronary anastomotic techniques using high fidelity simulation models.
Suitable for: Surgical NCHDs with an interest in cardiothoracic surgery.
