Summary
The Core Competencies in Plastic Surgery course will provide you with basic concepts of plastic surgery and equip you with the basic skills needed for a non-consultant hospital doctor (NCHD) who is recommencing an NCHD post in plastic surgery.

Learning outcomes
- Understand the principles of plastic surgery and the reconstructive ladder.
- Develop proficiency in the clinical management of local anaesthesia, burns, soft tissue injuries, tendon injuries and bone injuries.
- Understand the surgical principles and techniques of escharotomies, tendon repair, bone fixation and dressing/cast application.
