Summary

This intensive one-day course on managing obstetrical emergencies is designed for healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and hands-on skills in high-risk obstetric situations.

Through a combination of didactic sessions, procedural skill stations, and high-fidelity simulations, participants will explore critical topics such as eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, shoulder dystocia, ruptured ectopic pregnancy, cardiac arrest in pregnancy, and postpartum haemorrhage.

Emphasis is placed on timely recognition, rapid intervention, and coordinated team-based care, with dedicated time for discussion and reflection to consolidate learning and integrate the latest evidence-based practices.

  • Learn to identify and initiate management for critical obstetric conditions such as eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, and ruptured ectopic pregnancy using up-to-date clinical guidelines.
