White Coat Ceremony
During the annual White Coat Ceremony, we celebrate the transition to clinical training of our second-year medical students. Regarded as a seminal moment in the course of medical training and future careers, the ceremony is a symbolic event based around the presentation of the students’ white coats.
The event features an address by RCSI Bahrain’s faculty highlighting the significance of wearing the white coat and the responsibility associated with it. The ceremony concludes with the students' recital of the professional declaration, through which they vowed to maintain professional attitudes and behaviours in work and relationships with classmates, teachers, patients and the community.
