EU Researchers Night at RCSI

Join us at 26 York Street, RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences for this year’s European Research Night in collaboration with Trinity START (Start Talking About Research Today) programme.

We will focus on advancements in cancer research and ways we can be proactive in early detection. This event will be a combination of public lectures and interactive sessions to demonstrate the processes involved in diagnosing cancer.

We will begin the evening in the Desmond lecture theater at 6pm with talks from experts in cancer research on new diagnostics and targeted treatment for cancer patients. Our speakers on the night will be Professor Arnold Hill and Dr Damir Vareslija..

After which you are welcome to visit RCSI SIM Centre for Simulation Education & Research where healthcare professionals will be on hand to provide demonstrations and information on the screening processes and the steps involved following a diagnosis. Learn self-assessment techniques from our expert tutors to help identify any changes early and demystify the screening processes.

This event is open to all and any who want to learn more about cutting edge research in cancer and techniques for self-assessments to detect early signs. Places are limited so please register for this free event by 26 September.
