The Graduate School of Healthcare Management at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences has launched a new series of short courses for mid- and senior-level healthcare managers, starting this summer.

Applications are now open for three new courses – MBA Essentials for Healthcare, Summer Leadership Series and Executive Leadership for Women in Healthcare – which have been designed to deliver practical, immediately applicable tools for leadership and management. Designed in direct response to feedback from healthcare professionals and employers, the courses offer flexible, accessible learning for healthcare professionals.

"The summer months remain busy in healthcare and education, but it's often a valuable time to reflect, to top up our skillset or to prepare for what comes next," said Dr Colm Foster, Director of Academic Programmes, Graduate School of Healthcare Management, RCSI.

"We've carefully calibrated these three short online courses to meet the needs of individuals and their organisations at a time of change, and in the context of constrained resources across global healthcare systems."

Each programme offers a unique emphasis:

"Regardless of your healthcare setting or location, these programmes will deliver an immediate impact: the tools and experience which participants receive can be implemented straight away," said Dr Foster.

Each course is delivered fully online, using the same technology and systems as RCSI's highly regarded masters, diploma, certificate, micro-credential and CPD programmes. A streamlined admissions process, with no entry requirements and no written assignments, makes it easy to enrol and start learning.

"At the RCSI Graduate School of Healthcare Management we’re continually investing in our faculty, digital learning infrastructure and course development," said Sara McDonnell, Executive Director, RCSI Graduate School of Healthcare Management.

"These three new courses aim to address some of the most pressing challenges that healthcare professionals face globally. Whether it's optimising resources, improving leadership capability, or fostering innovation, these courses are part of RCSI's aim to deliver world-class, expert solutions into the hands of healthcare managers cost-effectively and at speed."
