Partnerships and impact
Our collaborations include leading hospitals, academic centres and industry partners, creating a dynamic environment that drives innovation, knowledge exchange and real-world impact.
In Ireland, we work closely with a network of clinical partner sites, including Connolly Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, St James’s Hospital, the Rotunda Hospital, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda, Cavan General Hospital and Bon Secours Hospital. These partnerships provide valuable clinical insights and opportunities to translate research into practice.
Our academic collaborations bring together expertise from a wide range of disciplines, including bioengineering, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, clinical nursing, health economics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and ICT systems. This multidisciplinary approach enables us to address complex healthcare challenges from multiple perspectives and develop innovative, evidence-based solutions. Central to all our research projects is the active involvement of patient advocacy groups, ensuring the patient voice remains at the heart of our work. This commitment to meaningful engagement shapes research priorities, enhances the relevance of outcomes and supports the development of solutions that deliver tangible benefits for patients and healthcare systems.
