International Medical Commencement Programme

Level 6 Special Purpose Award

Fees and funding

The tuition fee for the International Medical Commencement Programme (IMCP) for the 2027/2028 academic year is €24,000.

If you are considering the IMCP, it is important to plan for the full cost of your university education. The IMCP is a pathway programme that leads directly to your chosen undergraduate degree. As a result, you should consider not only the cost of the IMCP year, but also the tuition fees and living expenses associated with completing your degree programme.

Your financial planning should therefore include:

  • IMCP tuition fees
  • Living expenses during the IMCP year
  • Tuition fees for your chosen undergraduate degree
  • Living expenses for the duration of your undergraduate studies

The current tuition fees for the undergraduate degree programmes available to IMCP graduates are outlined below.
