The Student Council is annually elected by the RCSI Bahrain student body to maintain and promote the educational, social and general welfare of students. Student Council members engage and address the concerns of their peers, while facilitating communication with university administration and faculty.
Student involvement in the Student Council provides a structured opportunity to assume responsibility and to influence decision-making. All RCSI Bahrain students are entitled to vote in the Student Council elections, which take place towards the end of each academic year.
The elected council is made of a President; Vice-President; Medicine Academic Officer and Nursing Academic Officer, who subsequently appoint a wider team of officers in a variety of roles. The Student Council team also includes class representatives from each academic year group, who act are elected by their respective classmates.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions please do not hesitate to contact the Student Council at firstname.lastname@example.org, or simply drop by the Student Council office - attached to the Student Services and Events office - on the first floor.
