COVID-19 update

Due to COVID-19 restrictions there is no ad hoc access to RCSI Library, 26 York Street this academic year. Access is permitted only to learning communities who have been assigned study space in the library and other study spaces in 26 York Street. Please do not show up if you have not been scheduled, as entry will be denied.

RCSI Library continues to offer services remotely, including access to online resources, book borrowing through Click and Collect, RCSI Library guides and remote support. Library service updates are available here.

Location

Access

RCSI Alumni can apply for their access card with the Alumni Office.

Reflecting COVID-19 protocols we currently cannot accommodate visitors to our Library. The reciprocal access schemes ALCID and SCONUL are suspended for 2020/21.

Facilities

Individual and group study spaces including Group Study Rooms; Amphitheatre for practice presentations; Computer Room and touch-down computers; print/copy/scan services; Information Point for in person support; Reading Lounge; book and anatomical model collections; self-service for book borrowing, returns and renewals; Library Learning Commons for student pop-up events.

Printing and IT

Within the library spaces users can avail of:

  • RCSI Wi-Fi services (guest, staff and student)
  • Networked PCs
