The second episode in the 2022/23 RCSI MyHealth Series, ‘Positive ageing: retiring well’, is hosted by the RCSI Centre for Positive Psychology and Health.

As part of this discussion, the panel will explore the process of retirement from a psychological aspect and lifestyle medicine perspective, as well as sharing practical tools and strategies to prepare for a successful retirement. 

This panel discussion will be chaired by Dr Mary Collins, Chartered Psychologist and Senior Executive Development Specialist at the RCSI Graduate School of Healthcare Management. 

Panelists include:

  • Professor Robert Kelly, Senior Lecturer in Medicine at RCSI and a consultant in Cardiology & Lifestyle Medicine, Beacon Hospital
  • Dr Trudy Meehan, Senior Clinical Psychologist specialising in child and adolescent mental health and lecturer at the RCSI Centre for Positive Psychology and Health
