We look forward to welcoming you to RCSI's city centre campus on Friday, 9 January 2026 from 10.15am to 4pm for our Undergraduate Open Day.

The Open Day is the perfect opportunity for prospective RCSI students to explore our 26 York Street campus building, meet current RCSI students, find out key information about the transition to university life and get all your burning questions answered. Prospective students will also have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on workshop, which will help you better understand what it's like to be a student at RCSI.

In order to ensure an interactive event for attendees, spaces are limited and we expect them to book out quickly. A waiting list will operate once the event fills up.

Important event information:

  • As places at the Open Day are limited, we will prioritise registrations from those in their final year of school/those applying to higher education for 2026 entry. We would also ask that students only register if they can join us for the full day.
  • Parents/guardians and other guests are more than welcome to join prospective students on the day, and do not need to register. Only prospective students should register for the event in order to allow us to facilitate as many attendees as possible.
  • Workshop tickets will be limited to registered prospective students, however guests will have the chance to explore our facilities, talk to our staff and students and enjoy a coffee in our on-site cafe or restaurant while they wait!
  • Students who select Dentistry as their programme of choice will attend the initial talks at our city centre campus in the morning before travelling to our dedicated dental teaching facilities in Sandyford to participate in a hands-on workshop. Return transport will be provided and further details will be shared ahead of the event date.

Based on feedback from previous open days and in order to facilitate more interactive workshops, in 2026 the traditional programme talks will be replaced by pre-recorded video presentations. These will be shared with those who have registered for the 2026 Undergraduate Open Day in advance of the event, and are available to view below.
