Graduate Entry Medicine Open Day
Event update
Registration is now open for RCSI's Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) Open Day, which will take place on Saturday, 18 January 2025 from 9.30am at the brand new RCSI Education and Research centre at Connolly Hospital. Please note that spaces at the event are limited in order to ensure an interactive experience for attendees, and so we will prioritise registrations from those applying to a GEM programme in 2025 or 2026.
Are you a graduate (or about to graduate from your first degree) and want to find out more about joining RCSI’s four year accelerated Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) degree programme in 2025?
The RCSI GEM Open Day represents a fantastic opportunity to find out more about RCSI, the GEM programme and life as an RCSI student.
During the GEM Open Day registered attendees will:
- Have the opportunity to experience RCSI's brand-new, state-of-the-art Education and Research Centre at Connolly Hospital, where Year 2 GEM students spend most of their time;
- Receive an introduction to the programme by the Director of Graduate Entry Medicine, Professor Seamus Sreenan;
- Experience our simulation facilities;
- Meet with current RCSI GEM students across pre-clinical and clinical years and participate in a Q&A session;
- Enjoy an informal lunch where you will have the opportunity to chat with current GEM students; and
- Hear from recent graduates of the programme, who will offer some insight into life after graduation.
