Community Impact and Philanthropy Award

To be offered to a graduate who has demonstrated excellence in community engagement initiatives (at RCSI Medical University of Bahrain and externally) and is dedicated to serving the wider community through awareness, volunteerism, and philanthropy.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

• The candidate must have completed a MB BCH BAO, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing from RCSI Medical University of Bahrain.
• The candidate must be in good standing with the University.
• It is preferred that the candidate have a record of community impact and engagement before graduation – either through RCSI Bahrain or externally (e.g. DMU, FNB, volunteerism, ICE trip, Sahabt Amal, NomuHub, or similarly).
• List of awards demonstrating excellence in community engagement, service and/or volunteerism must be provided (if applicable).
• Overview of philanthropic activities and involvement.
• No more than one candidate should be selected each academic year.

Condition: Alumni Can Apply for this Award More than Once

Nominations – January to February.

Alumni Awards Committee meeting and final decision in February/March.
