RCSI Bahrain Intern Award
Since 2015, the Intern Award has been presented annually to one outstanding intern who demonstrates exceptional performance during their training. The award is based on a comprehensive Multi-Source Feedback (MSF) evaluation, ensuring a fair and holistic assessment of the intern’s contributions.
The evaluation process gathers input from consultants, residents, co-workers, colleagues, and peers, who provide structured feedback on the intern’s:
- Clinical skills
- Communication
- Collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Professionalism
- Patient management
This feedback is collated and analysed by the Quality Enhancement Office. The intern with the highest overall score in these domains is selected as the recipient of the Intern Award.
The recognition highlights the recipient’s dedication to patient care, teamwork, and professional excellence, reflecting the values of RCSI Medical University of Bahrain.
Nominations and assessments from January to March.
Final decision and announcement in April.
