Below is a list of FAQs to keep prospective RCSI students up-to-date ahead of course commencements. This page will be updated as more information becomes available.

Please be assured that we will be prepared to welcome our new Postgraduate students this autumn as scheduled. In the event that RCSI buildings are still closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation we will commence all programmes online.

We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting all our colleagues on the frontline of healthcare and we will work with you to ensure that you will be able to commence your programme even if practice has not returned to normal.

If you applied for the MSc in Neurology and Gerontology, please contact our School of Physiotherapy Administrator at physiotherapy@rcsi.ie if you have questions or concerns.

Yes, we are accepting applications at present. To apply, please visit the page of the course you are interested in for a link to our online application system.

Although this is an evolving situation, we are working to process all applications in order to commence new students as planned in autumn 2020. It may take a little longer than we usual to get back to you, but please be assured we will be in touch as soon as possible.

We have been in contact with all applicants regarding any surgery applications. If you have not heard from us, please email mssp@rcsi.com.

Any interviews will be take place online. If shortlisted, details will be sent in advance of the interview if one is required.

We are aware that many test centres are closed until further notice. We will discuss the available options based on your circumstances. In the meantime, we would encourage students to continue to prepare for their exam until further information is available.

We expect that all programmes will run as scheduled. Applicants will be contacted directly if there is any change to our schedule of programme commencement.

Yes, we will offer refunds if any course is cancelled. Alternatively, you will be given the option to enrol on a similar course or start the same programme at a later date.
