RCSI has developed a guide for Ukrainian doctors coming to work in the public healthcare system in Ireland.

The document, which is available here, outlines important information on working and living in Ireland.

RCSI strongly condemns the Russian invasion of Ukraine and is gravely concerned about the enormous humanitarian crisis that has resulted. We support the global effort to assist the Ukrainian people who have left their country, and those who have remained.

Recognising the traumatic circumstances those who have been displaced have experienced, the document aims to help displaced Ukrainian to explore work and training opportunities within the Irish public health system.

For displaced doctors with a particular interest in surgery, Affiliate Membership of RCSI is available free of charge for one year. Further information on the Affiliate Membership programme and an application form is available here.
