Fees for Fellows

To engage in the governance of the Board of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery and receive communications from the Faculty regarding news, events and opportunities, Fellows must be in Good Standing.

Fellows in Good Standing enjoy the full benefits of Fellowship, including:

  • Eligibility to vote and stand for election to the Faculty Board.
  • An invitation to attend the annual general meeting.
  • Invitations to Fellows, Members and friends events.
  • Discounted rates for participation in CPD programmes and attendance at the Annual Faculty Education and Research Conference.
  • Eligibility to apply for the Faculty's growing range of bursaries, including the Academic Travel Award, Clinical Bursary Award and PhD and Professional Doctorate Scholarship Award.
  • Access to the Faculty's quarterly eNewsletter.
  • Ongoing engagement with the Faculty throughout the year.
  • Access to RCSI Travel.
  • Preferential rates for room bookings within RCSI (subject to availability).

To be of good standing, Fellows – other than Honorary Fellows – are required to pay an annual subscription fee. Fellows Ad Eundem and/or by election, who wish to enjoy the benefits of Fellowship, as listed above, are also required to carry out the good standing process on an annual basis. Otherwise an honorary affiliation with the Faculty will be assumed.

Fees must be paid annually in January. Fellows are deemed to be in good standing for the first year following their conferring.

The annual Fellowship fees are:

  • Employed Fellows: €50
  • Retired and unemployed Fellows: €30

The annual Membership fees are:

  • Employed Members: €40
  • Retired and unemployed Members: €30
