Food and catering

RCSI may be surrounded by some of Dublin’s best restaurants, but our on-campus food offering is just as tempting.

Catering for the needs of our international student body, our on-campus restaurant and two coffee shops serve a wide selection of freshly-made food and drinks, including vegetarian and halal-friendly options.

Café society

Open from 7.30am, Remedy, the University's newest coffee spot in the basement of 123 St Stephen's Green, lives up to its name for students needing a caffeine fix. Offering quality coffee, snacks and quick lunch options if you need a takeaway, Remedy is a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of University life.

Starbucks lovers will be glad to know tall, grande and venti hot drinks and snacks are on offer in The Dispensary, on the ground floor of 26 York Street. Also open from 7.30am, Monday to Friday, The Dispensary is the perfect spot for a study break around exam time.

The main course

The restaurant in the basement of 123 St Stephen’s Green, 1784 (named in honour of RCSI’s Charter year) serves up a host of delectable dishes from 7.30am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. The lunch menu at 1784 is as varied as our students’ appetites, serving fresh soups, salads and tempting main dishes from the Food Theatre and The Kitchen.
